Starting the booking of Kia Seltos

South Korea's automobile company Kia Motors has started pre-booking of its compact SUV Seltos today (July 16). Celtos is being booked on a token amount of Rs. 25,000. Customers can book Seltos from anywhere in 265 dealerships launched in 160 cities across the country. Apart from this, online Seltos can be pre-booked online at kia.com. Kia Motors will launch its compact SUV Seltos in India on August 22.

In comparison, it will be a bit bigger. Apart from this, this compact SUV has many great features with better quality interior. Kia Seltos can be launched in the range of 11-17 lakh rupees (ex-showroom price). At the same time, its on-road price may be in the range of 12.20 lakhs to 19.7 lakhs. In the Indian market, this compact SUV will compete with the base variant of Tata Harrier, MG Hector and Jeep Compass.

Kia's compact SUV will be available in Celts 2 Trim Levels. This SUV will come in the GT line and Tech line. Celtos will come with three engine options. If you talk about the engine option, it will come with a 1.5 liter 4 cylinder petrol engine, 1.4 liter turbocharged petrol and 1.5 liter diesel engine. On the other hand, if talking about the transmission option, the Celtos 6 speed manual, 6 speed torque converter automatic, CVT automatic and 7 speed DCT will come in automatic. Kia will launch all the Engines with BS-VI standards.

This technology called UVO helps users access 37 Smart Features. These features include Vehicle Management, Remote Control, Safety and Security and Navigation. If you talk about other important features, the smart 8.0-inch head-up display has been given in Celts.

Celtos features 10.25 inch touchscreen entertainment system, ventilated and power adjustable seats, Bose 8 speaker systems, sunroof and ambient mood lighting. If you talk about safety features, then there are 6 airbags, electronic stability control, ABS, Hill start assist control, tire pressure monitoring system.
