Kingston Introduces Cheap SSD - NVME A2000

For those of you who regularly observe the SSD market, maybe now often find a range of SSDs offered by several manufacturers at more competitive prices. Not only enlivened by SATA SSDs, storage manufacturers are also currently diligently offering SSDs with the M.2 2280 form factor that carries NVMe (Non Volatile Memory Express) technology, but is intended for entry-level classes.

Kingston A2000 which is designed for entry-level class offers high performance compared to SATA SSDs. This single-sided SSD design offers sequential Read and Write performance reaching 2200MB / s and 2000MB / s. The performance is offered thanks to the use of the 96-layer Toshiba BiCS4 TLC NAND Flash 3D and PCIe 3.0 x4 interface. Not to forget, Kingston A2000 also features security-related features such as AES 256-bit Hardware-based Encryption and TCG Opal 2.0.

The Kingston said that they were very enthusiastic in releasing this SSD A2 A2000 which entered in this entry-level class. "This SSD is very suitable for use by PC users with a limited budget who want to improve the performance of their PCs, both desktop and laptop PCs," said the Kingston.

This SSD which has 2 million hours MTBF is available in three capacity choices, starting from 250GB, 500GB and 1 TB. For 1 TB capacity, Kingston A2000 is offered at a price of around USD 100.
