How to Add Friends to your Squad on Apex Legends

Apex legends is currently the trending Battle Royale video game by Respawn entertainment, hitting about 10 million subscribers within 3 days. The game offers a great way to boost team work abilities among players because the characters are created with different special abilities. To be able to win a match, you need to make a good combination of the abilities of all the legends in your squad. To make this happen, you need to pair up with friends. Most people prefer to add friends than teaming up with strangers (fear of having noob) - so I am going to show you how to add a friend you like to team up with on Apex legends on PS4, Xbox one and PC.

How to add friends to Apex legends squad on PC

To add up a friend to your Apex legends squad on PC, on the main lobby screen, press 'shift + F1' which should open a list where you have to select a friend list. 

A pop up window will open where you can add your friend to your Apex legends squad by typing in their username. 

Your friends will appear along with you in the lobby when they accept your request.

Your friend should have should be online and registered as your in-game friend to be added to Apex legends squad. The game does not support cross-play, so you can only add friends that are on the same platform with you. 

How to add friends to Apex legends squad on PS4 and Xbox one

Adding friend to Apex legends squad on PS4 and Xbox one is totally different from that of PC. To add a friend, go to the main lobby, your player will appear there and you will see a '+' sign. Navigate to it and click to bring a pop up of friend list where you can add your friends. You can then add them as far as they are online and already registered as your in-game friend.

If they accept, they will appear alongside your character on the lobby.

Apex legends is now out on PC, PS4 and Xbox one.
