LIMITATIONS OF COMPUTER : MOST DANGEROUS FACTS

I think any kind of technology that we've got, like knife is a really simple piece of technology we've had it for tens of thousands of years. It on its own is not good or bad, so it much depends upon the intentions that we bring to it and what we expect from it. So a knife that's pulled upon you in a subway or a dark alley, you know in some place where you have no other defense and somebody holds it against you as a weapon.

This is a bad use of a knife but a knife in the hands of a surgeon might be the very thing that saves your life. The knife alone is not enough now what we need then is some set of ethical principles that will guide us in the use the knife and not just ethical principles but good character.

We need to be the kind of people who have spent time using the tools and talking together about the tools and deciding, how we'll use the tools and not just be the tools of others.

Here are some limitations of computers.

Limitations Of Computer

No Self Intelligence:

As, you know computers are intelligent, but not have self intelligence. Self Intelligence means that computers can not think on it's own. They need instructions to do anything. First when I started programming, the first question in my mind was "Why computer can't do everything?". However, with the passage of time I learnt, that computer needs instructions to do anything. The working speed of a computer is amazing, it can do many dangerous things, but if the work is defined in the instructions.

Conclusion:
Computer doesn't have any self intelligence, it needs human to work intelligently.

No decision making power

Computers are not self intelligent as mentioned before. As, it is not self intelligent, that's why it can't take decisions on it's own. Computer takes decisions on the conditions which are told it before in the instructions. Instructions are the programs and software which tells the computer what to do. It can be harmful when it is being used in dangerous projects like launching bombs or in banks.   

Conclusion:
It can do only those tasks which are already instructed.

No Learning Power:

Computer has no learning power. Once you give instruction to a computer "how to perform a task". The next task can not be performed if you do not give the next instruction to do the same next time. For Example, if you are taught how to solve a problem, then you are given to solve same kind of problem, you can do it. But computer can not because it has no learning power. 

Conclusion: 
Computer has no learning power.

Emotionless

Computers are emotionless, they do not have emotions Like, Dislike anger feelings. They are simply machines which only works as per instructions given. They do not react on who else is using them.

Conclusion:
Computers have no feelings.

Curtail Human Capabilities

Although computer are great help to human beings, it is commonly felt that we people have become so dependent on calculator that we cannot make very simple calculations without calculator. Sometimes, We find it difficult to instantly speak out even that telephone number which they use every time and then as they got the habit of using them by retrieving storage.

Caution 

Excessive use of computers is causing health risks like back pain, cervical pain, pain in eye and headache.   

Conclusion:

These are the limitations of computers, and the thing we got from this article is that every thing is not good or bad, but it's use make it good or bad.
