To help users easily identify a suspicious transaction, Google Pay will now send app Notifications as well as SMS
to allow users to withdraw money from their bank account, which is
approved to highlight the time they receive a collection request.

Over
the past two years, instant bank-to-bank transfers through the Unified
Payments Interface (UPI) have become the preferred payment method for
millions of Indians, with many users taking digital payments for the first time.
Google
Pay is equipped with a number of Google security infrastructure,
including scam prevention. It uses machine learning-based scam
prevention models and clearly displays "scam" or "stranger" warnings if a
user receives their contacts or requests from a suspicious person,
Google has said.
