             WhatsApp is one of the famous social media platform which proved to be very helpful to everybody worldwide.

          Even Mark Zuckerberg owner of Facebook shocked to see its worldwide scope and made a visionary decision to purchase it.

        Now a days everyone is using this amazing application. Here are 22 famous tricks,tips and hacks which will be helpful to you in using WhatsApp.

1.Pin your friends or groups:

                Select friends or groups you want to show at the top of list by long pressing and then pinned them.You can pin upto 3 friends or groups.

2.Minimize your data:

                    If you want that minimum data used on WhatsApp then go to setting>storage and data usage>media auto download and unchecked photos, audio, video and document.

3.Make a video or audio call:

           You can  make video call upto 3 person at a time.For this go to call select audio or video, in case of video make a call to a person then again press + button to call second similarly to 3rd person simultaneously.

4.Starred a post:

               If you like a video,audio,photo or document and wants to read or view it later simply select it and on top title bar press on star.

         Now this post is added in starred messages,whenever you want to read this just go to menu>starred messages and read/view it.

5.Save your WhatsApp from Hacking:

               You can secure your WhatsApp account by enabling two step verification. For this go to setting>account>two step verification. Enter 6 digit code twice, enter email twice then your two step verification is enabled.Now nobody can access your WhatsApp account.

6.Use WhatsApp on your PC/laptop from Mobile: 

         Now you can use WhatsApp on your PC from mobile. For this open web.WhatsApp.com on PC,now from mobile go to menu>whatsappweb and scan QR code of pc screen from mobile. Now start using WhatsApp on PC.

7.Hide your status from specific person:

               If you wants to hide your status from a particular person then go to
status>menu>privacy status>how can see my status >select my status except and select the person from which you desired to hide your status.

8.Share GIF with friends: 

                 If you wants to share GIF(Graphics Interchange Formate) with friends then click on typing bar and then click on its left side emoji icon then click on GIF,here you can search GIF according to youy mode like happy and sad etc.

9.Share your Live Location with friends:

                  Now you can share live location with friends, so click on attached button in the bottom>location>click share live location.For this activity your location should be 'ON'.

11.Check WhatApp message statistics:

          You can check the message sent,received, total outgoing/incoming calls etc on whatsapp.Go to menu>setting>data and storage usage>network usage.You can also reset statistics.

12.WhatsApp Tip for Understanding Message Status:

        The first thing you should know is a tick in WhatsApp. This is a confirmation mark that appears in the chat bubble. There is one gray tick, double grey tick, double blue tick.

      A single gray tick means that the message left the phone and reached the server in WhatsApp, which means that the double gray tick was sent to the message recipient's phone.The double blue tick means message read by the receiver.

      Simple, they will not! Knowing the meaning of this scale helps you keep track of your conversation progress. This should be a trick to the first WhatsApp you need to know.

13.Create a group in WhatsApp:

         If you have not yet created a group, however, you should already know, this is a simple step included here.

           I will put down the steps for both iOS and Android users.

Steps for iPhone OS users

Step 1 - Go to your iPhone OS menu and run the application WhatsApp.


Step 2 - When WhatsApp starts up, select the option called "Chat" at the bottom of the screen.

Step 3 - Now, when you look at the top right of the screen, you can see the Options tab that says 'New Group' on it.

Step 4 - On the 'New Group' screen, you will need to enter the name 'Group Title' you give to your WhatsApp group. You can also add your profile picture,Once in the top right of the screen, tap 'Next'

Step 5 - Depending on your needs, simply click on the 'Create' option at the top right of the screen and after adding contacts you will have created a group in your WhatsApp.

14.Backup and restore your Whatsapp history:

            Back up and restore your conversation history WhatsApp automatically backs up chat conversations, but you can do it manually.

Go to Settings> Chat Settings> Chat Backup and press Backup Now.

15.Hide "Last visited" indicator:

                           This app has "Last visited" set as default, so others can see when you last accessed. To turn off this feature, turn off the last connection date in Settings> Chat Settings> Advanced.

16.Password-lock WhatsApp:

                  If you are worried that someone might see your conversation, lock your messenger with a password. Please lock it with a password or use a PIN CODE.

17.Marking contacts as favorites:

                 Do you have any contacts who frequently talk with you on Whatsapp? If so, try adding it to your smartphone screen as an app. Then you can communicate easily at any time.

18. Automatic downloading of media into gallery:

         You can save photos and videos or documents that your friends have shared with you directly into your gallery. To do this, you can allow Whatsapp in Settings> Privacy>media auto download and marked all.

19.Transfering of files on WhatsApp:

          Do you know that Whatsapp can also transfer .apk, .exe, .pdf, and other files?yes its happened.No more emails!

20.Change your phone number:

           Even if you want to change your phone number, you do not need to erase the app and install it again. Go to Settings> Account> Change phone number and enter the new number.

21.Send more than one photos,videos or documents:

                   Still sending individual photos,videos and documents one by one? WhatsApp is a great way to send more than one photos,videos or documents at once.

22. Message Schedule Setting:

                    Do I have to send the message 10 minutes later? If so, write it in advance and make a reservation. The message will then be sent to the other party at the scheduled time in the future.
