So imagine you have to Skype with someone you - like your crush, and you don't want them seeing all your messy stuffs littering the room. Skye had a new feature that lets you to blur the background so people don't see all those messy stuffs behind you. The feature is now available on Apple MacBook and PC but not on phones yet.

Microsoft introduced the new feature earlier this week to Skype. It's optional and you can use it if you want to have a video call and don't want someone on the other end to see how disorganized things behind you are. It's not perfect however but it does a good deal on making the call more focused on you and not your background.

• Open Skype app on your computer.

• Start a video call with someone.

• Hover over the window with your video.

• Click "Blur my background" to enable the blur effect.
