Find the right sensitivity settings
First,
you should personalise your sensitivity settings. It's very important
before you would even start playing to find out what sensitivity is
right for you.

Sensitivity
is personal to everyone, so don't copy some other players sensitivity
instead I would recommend you to go into the training room and try out
different sensitivities and see what works best for you.

Pretty
much what you want to do whenever you test the sensitivity is make sure
that you can accurately aim with it, like quickly acquire someone's
face for example.
Two weapons to rule them all. Choose wisely!
As
the second tip, I would say, you only have two weapon slots so make the
most out of it. Know what weapon is right for what situation. Before
you jump into a match, try out the training mode. it will help you gut
the feal for each and every weapon and how it works.

Personally,
my weapon of choice is the M416. It is not the easiest weapon to
control in the game but the high fire rate makes it one of the best
weapons in the game. Its a great all-round weapon for close to medium
range spray and long-range tapping.

I've
noticed a lot of newer players start using the UMP9 as a mid weapon.
it's not a bad choice, but the DPS is so low that you are not gonna
stand a chance against a more seasoned player using an AR. I think the
only viable SMGs are UZI and Vector, they've really high DPS and you can
stand a chance against an AR.

For
sniper rifles, use a bolt action sniper rifle. A one-shot kill weapon
is preferred when there is nobody to revive you. But in squads a DMR
would be a good choice as well, also you can pull out more damage on a
moving target.
Jump into populated cities, gear up, drive away!
As
my third tip, when jumping into a match, try jumping into a medium
populated city, get a few kills and drive off. Try using a car with a
cover that way you will have a hardcover when driving through open
areas.
If you don't have a vehicle, try to minimise the number of people that can see you and move from cover to cover.

Towards
the end of the game, I would not recommend you to stay in the same spot
unless you have a 360 cover. If you cant see everything around you,
there is a high chance of someone to sneak up on you.
Analyze each death
As
my last tip, I would say, analyse each death. So, as a player looking
to improve, analysing each death is a great way to learn fro your
mistakes and find new ways to handle different combat situations.

If
there is a possibility of someone peek shooting you don't jump. You
will not be able to ADS and your hip-fire accuracy will be very ad as
well. This is something that hs got me killed a lot, for some reason I
can't move without jumping around.

To sum it up, I would say
1. Customise your sensitivity, find something comfortable that fits your playstyle.
2. Keep in mind AR is the best choice for your automatic weapon.
3. Jump into a medium-size city, gear up, find a few kills and drive away.
4. Whenever you die, try to figure out what went wrong and how to improve it
